Owner

Kyle Zelazny, CSCS, Owner and Fitness Professional

Kyle Zelazny has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Nutrition from Ashland University, and is a fully insured CSCS Certified trainer (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists). Additionally he has experience with special populations from age 5-100 years old.

Originally from Westerville, Ohio, fitness has always played an important part in Kyle's life since he started playing sports at age 6. Growing up, Kyle excelled at many sports and was an All-Conference 3-sport athlete in high school (Football, Wrestling, and Track). In 2002, Kyle earned a football scholarship to Ashland University, where he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition. While at Ashland, Kyle earned All-Conference honors on the field, as well as Academic All- Conference in the classroom.

After moving to Chicago in May, 2007 upon college graduation, Kyle started working with geriatric populations at a local retirement community. This experience, which proved very valuable, involves special populations with issues such as joint replacements, history of heart attack, stroke recovery, and posture problems, just to name a few. While continuing to help local seniors, Kyle wanted to reach out to more people to help them improve their lives also. That is when he started Chicago Family Fit.

Rather than being concerned only with the many health-related factors and variations in our society, Kyle takes a different approach. His vision is to succeed not only by reaching out to individuals in the form of personal training, but also by helping them improve the health of others around them.

Kyle is experienced in developing exercise programs for people with the following conditions:

  • Back Surgery
  • Joint Replacements
  • Heart Attack
  • Stroke
  • Alzheimer's/Dementia
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Diabetes
  • Osteoporosis
  • Learning Disabilities

Beth Mingledorff, LCMT

Chicago Family Fit is proud to welcome the New Leaf Massage Company and it's owner Beth who will be providing massage services on premise. After a 20+ year career in the entertainment lighting industry, Beth realized that the prolonged stress of a fast-paced, demanding work environment had taken an unacceptable toll on her personal life and relationships. It was clear that she needed a change that would bring her back in touch with her compassionate and nurturing nature, long suppressed by the need to "get the job done". It didn't take long to decide that massage therapy was the ideal path for her.

Beth attended The Soma Institute, where she graduated Valedictorian from the Clinical Massage Therapy Program and followed up by completing Soma's Master of Clinical Massage Therapy Program. She now devotes her considerable skill to helping others take control of their health and wellness. Beth has worked with athletes, chiropractic patients and spa clients and prides herself on utilizing the ideal combination of compassionate touch and therapeutic technique to address the needs of each individual client.

Beth is licensed in Illinois, nationally certified by the NCBTMB and a certified member of ABMP.
