Congratulations on your recent engagement! But before you get overwhelmed with everything, remember that your wedding is one of the most important days of your life. Looking your best is paramount, and wedding pictures last a lifetime. When your on a deadline, it’s a good idea to consult with a personal trainer to make a plan. Here are a few suggestions for brides to be:
- Start training at least 6 months before your wedding date-It’s important because you want the majority of your weight loss to happen before your final dress fitting. The last month should focus on toning and sculpting the shoulders, back, and of course, the core region.
- Workout with your Fiance’ or Bridesmaids! This is a great way to keep up the motivation, spend time together, and split costs. You can even work on wedding planning before or after your workouts.
- Find a trainer that has availability around your schedule. When you are on a deadline, there is no time for missed workouts. I suggest planning a week or two ahead to make sure that you don’t miss any sessions.
- Meet with your trainer first! Don’t sign up or pay for anything until making sure that you and your trainer are a good fit. If this person does not motivate you, reaching your goals are nearly impossible.
